The wilderness area encompasses about 71 000 hectares of rugged mountainous terrain, positioning Sunka Camp perfectly for nature lovers or the adventurous spirit.

Perfect for couples, this eco-friendly accommodation is built from a vintage caravan flowing effortlessly into a natural wooden cabin overlooking sublime surrounds. The kitchen is fitted with a fridge/freezer as well as all the necessities you'll need for a weekend away. Solar panels provide lighting and a charging point to keep those devices charged...trust us, you'll need them at 100% to capture the magical scenery! Sunka Camp also features an outdoor shower and a composting loo-with-a-view, and blends indoor comforts with outdoor life seamlessly.

Got kids? No problem! The caravan has sleeper couches perfect for up to 2 younger children. Furbabies are welcome too.

Whether just relaxing or enjoying beautiful walks around the farm, Sunka Camp offers easy access to all the Cederberg has to offer such as day hikes, rock climbing, mountain/gravel biking, trail running, bird watching, star gazing and of course San rock art. Billy's Tented Camp is your own private piece of heaven perfect for couples, friends and family getaways. The two safari style tents each sleep 2 people in single beds. A separate private clubhouse contains your fully fitted kitchen, dining area and lounge. Outside you will find a large stoep perfect for the evenings sundowner and a braai area where you can swop stories of the day while cooking dinner with your friends. Plus your very own private plunge pool to cool off in. 

Don't forget to stay awake until the stars come out...they are spectacular!

As with all accommodation on Pendoornkraal Farm, friendly doggies are welcome as long as they stay under your supervision at all times. Small children can also be accommodated with prior notice.

What better way to truly experience the Cederberg than camping totally in the wild? At Dassie Rock, you will find the perfect peaceful and safe space to become one with nature. You will bring everything you need with you - we only provide a composting loo so that the camping experience stays as wild as nature intended.

Friendly doggies are welcome, as long as they are under your supervision all of the time. You will rent the entire Dassie Rock camp - we can accommodate more than one vehicle but you will not be sharing with other campers not part of your group.
