Pendoornkraal is based between the Olifants River and Nieuwoudts pass on the Algeria road. The nearest shops are at Algeria Cape Nature office (basic supplies and snacks) or in Clanwilliam (30mins by car). So please pack accordingly.

Bring your own:

• wood
• food and beverages
• medical kits

If you need anything during your stay, please send us a message and we will do our best to assist.

50% deposit is required to confirm your booking. Full payment is required 7 days prior to check in.

We understand that sometimes your plans change and you may need to cancel or change your dates. We will do our best to accommodate these instances, however, if you cancel within 7 days of your arrival date, we will be unable to refund your payment. Should you cancel between 8-30 days of your arrival date, we will refund 50% of your deposit. Cancellations more than 30 days in advance will receive a full cancellation.

The above also applies to date changes.

Pendoornkraal is a working farm in a wilderness area. From time to time you may see agricultural equipment at work. Please stay clear of the farmlands during this time and keep your pet close by. You may also encounter wildlife such as leopard, rooikat, porcupines and snakes to name a few. Please be vigilant in looking out for wildlife and take care if you do encounter them. Please remember, they are WILD!

Activities not allowed on Pendoornkraal:

• smoking indoors (please dispose of your cigarette butts responsibly)
• flying of drones without prior approval from the farmer
• climbing of rocks unless with prior approval from the farmer
• quad bikes, motorbikes or any other motorised 2 wheeler
• offroad 4x4 driving
• loud music

Pendoornkraal reserves the right to ask guests not to make open fires when conditions are very windy. This is to prevent veld fires. 

Guests attend this establishment at their own risk.

The proprietor, its agents and/or its employees (“the proprietor’) shall not be liable for, and the guests hereby waive and abandon any claims of whatever nature including but not limited to that for theft, loss or damage of whatever nature, against the proprietor, whether arising from the proprietor’s default, negligence or otherwise.

The guests, in addition to the aforesaid, hereby indemnify the proprietor against and claims which may arise from whatever nature, whether arising from the proprietors default, negligence or otherwise.

This disclaimer notice is prominently displayed throughout the property and is valid and automatically considered as accepted by guests entering the property.
